The stream isn't working / keeps dropping

Check your internet connection first. If the problem only happens with one specific station, that station's own broadcast is most likely down temporarily (that's on the station, not on Frequency) — try another station or check back later.

Why don't I see the song that's playing?

Not every radio station broadcasts song metadata. In that case, you can turn on automatic song recognition in Settings (using Shazam technology) — the app will briefly turn on the microphone in the background and try to recognize the song.

How do I add a station to favorites?

Tap the heart icon next to a station in the list. You'll find your favorite stations under "Favorites".

Can I listen in the car over CarPlay?

Yes — once your phone is connected to CarPlay, Frequency shows up among your apps with the full station list and playback controls.

Does Frequency collect my data?

No more than the app needs to work — see the Privacy Policy for details.
